10 December, 2015- DVV International, in cooperation with Kosovo Education Centre (KEC), has implemented the project dubbed “Multicultural and intercultural education in Kosovo.” Also, series of activities have been carried out so far aiming at building human and didactic capacities as well as advancement of the multicultural and intercultural Education in Kosovo.
This project provided training for a high number of teachers, mainly teachers of social courses, and all the needed and necessary materials for implementation of the multicultural and intercultural Education in schools (Manual, Curriculum, etc), have been prepared through it.
The Conference launching the project “Multicultural and intercultural Education in Kosovo” was held on 10 December 2015. Project’s achievements of the project, best regional practices (from Albania and Macedonia) were presented, and the International Human Rights Day, respectively the day of the Adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was marked during the Conference.
This conference was attended by 92 persons, representatives of state educational institutions, local and international NGOs, as well as representatives of different communities and ethnic groups from Kosovo. During the entire Conference, students of the Faculty of Arts worked on paintings with Human Right and Interculturalism motifs that were given to the conference panel members in the end.
